The Parish Church of Saint Thomas à Becket Framfield
This beautiful church is the oldest of our three churches, and worships in a more informal way. We serve the communities of Framfield, Blackboys and Palehouse Common. Saint Thomas’ is the only church in the Benefice with a dedication, this being to Saint Thomas à Becket whose shrine is contained within Canterbury Cathedral.

East Hoathly Parish Church
Sits in the heart of the village, and is used every day by children from East Hoathly CE School which is right next door! Our worship is more traditional, with a ‘central’ usually Eucharistic liturgy.

Chiddingly Parish Church
This fine church with its imposing spire lies in the heart of the village, and is much loved by the local communities of Chiddingly, Muddles Green and Whitesmith. We have a ring of eight bells, that are popular with visiting ringers. Like East Hoathly we worship within a ‘central’ anglican tradition.

A quick update on Barry Richardson’s Funeral arangements: Barry’s funeral service will be held at St. Thomas à Becket Framfield at 11am on Wednesday 19th August. It would be amazing if as many people as possible from the Church and wider communities could attend, to give him the send off that he deserves. As Barry had no immediate family, Framfield Church is meeting the cost of his funeral. If anyone feels abe to make any donation, whatever the ammount, that would be a fitting tribute to all that he has given to the community over the years.
