Welcome to the Weald Way Churches

Three beautiful Parish Churches in the heart of the Sussex countryside.

The Parish Church of St Thomas à Becket Framfield

This beautiful church is the oldest of our three churches, and worships in a more informal way. We serve the communities of Framfield, Blackboys and Palehouse Common. Saint Thomas’ is the only church in the Benefice with a dedication, this being to Saint Thomas à Becket whose shrine is contained within Canterbury Cathedral.

East Hoathly Parish Church

Sits in the heart of the village, and is used every day by children from East Hoathly CE School which is right next door! Our worship is more traditional, with a ‘central’ usually Eucharistic liturgy.

Chiddingly Parish Church

This fine church with its imposing spire lies in the heart of the village, and is well loved by the local communities of Chiddingly, Muddles Green and Whitesmith. We have a fine ring of eight bells, and like East Hoathly worship within a ‘central’ anglican tradition.
